Seller Terms and Conditions
AUCTIONEER: Eric Jackson Revenue Stamps is the auctioneer.
VENDOR: Person/s supplying property to be sold at auction by the Auctioneer.
The Vendor warrants and guarantees to the Auctioneer that he/she is entitled to sell the property and that the property is free of all liens and that there are no restrictions on such sale.
The Vendor shall also be responsible for any misrepresentations made to the Auctioneer concerning the authenticity, provenance or condition of the property. The Vendor shall bear any and all consequences in case such property is the subject of a reclamation which is justified in the opinion of the Auctioneer.
The minimum consignment value for any one single lot of property to be auctioned is $100.00.
The Vendor agrees to pay the Auctioneer a Selling Commission of (tbd) on the final hammer price of all lots sold by the Auctioneer. This Selling Commission will be deducted from any funds due to the Vendor for any lot.
The Auctioneer shall not be liable for any loss or damage to property which is inadequately packed or prepared when received from the Vendor.
The Auctioneer has absolute discretion as to the manner in which property is offered for sale and reserves the right to reject part or the whole of any property sent to them for sale at auction.
Withdrawals of property/s for sale is not allowed under any circumstances once the receipt has been issued by the Auctioneer.
At anytime the Auctioneer believes an item needs to be accompanied by an Expert opinion certification, the Vendor will be informed of this and one will be obtained prior to the property being offered at auction. The auctioneer reserves the right to decide on the expert body to issue the certificate. All costs associated with the obtainment of such a certificate will be borne by the Vendor.
The Auctioneer reserves total rights to set any/all Estimates, Reserves or Starting Prices of any property.
PAYMENTS: The Auctioneer agrees to pay the Vendor the sum due for property sold after all valid expenses (as listed above) have been finalized within 45 days from the close of the auction. If an item has been offered on Extension to a buyer payment will be made once the Extension has been finalized.
AMENDMENTS: Any amendments to these Terms and Conditions must be expressly agreed upon in writing by both parties.
Submitting any material to the Auctioner for sale by auction constitutes acknowledgement and acceptance of these Terms of Sale.
